HELLO AND WELCOME TO PERFORMING ARTS GOONDIWINDI!
HISTORY
From humble beginnings in the 70’s when a Choral Society and Dramatic society worked hard to satisfy members needs, the groups merged in the 90’s to become Goondiwindi Performing Arts Inc, an incorporated body better placed to support the thriving Performing Arts scene.
In the 1980’s the group purchased the old “Guide Hut" to give it a physical home. This “Hut” is our rehearsal space, our meeting place and a venue used for teaching performance related skills and providing opportunities for live performance within the community.

Performing arts members have many and varied interests. The members have run a variety of different break-out group activities over the years, and this has led to many collaborations between the members culminating in public performance. It may be a locally written piece incorporating musical numbers and dramatic interludes, a play or a musical.
